🔒 Privacy Policy

Plain language, because privacy policies should be readable. Last updated July 2026.

What we collect

Account info: username, email, password (stored hashed), and whatever you put on your profile.
Your content: posts, photos, tracks, messages, comments stored so we can show them to whoever you chose.
Basic logs: standard web-server request logs, kept briefly for debugging and abuse prevention.

What we don't do

No ads, no ad tracking, no analytics beacons, no selling data. Ever.
No reading your private messages except where legally required or when content is reported for abuse.
No third-party data sharing the only outside services are the embeds you place (YouTube, Spotify, etc.), which load with referrer protection, and our optional Ko-fi support widget.

Cookies

Functional only: your session, a CSRF protection token, and your theme preference. No tracking cookies.

Who sees your content

You decide, per item: public, friends, or private. Who can contact you is controlled at Settings → Privacy. Moderators can see reported content, but privacy settings otherwise bind staff too.

Deleting your data

Settings → Account → Delete account permanently removes your account and content. Nightly backups age out on a 14-day / 8-week / 6-month rotation, after which deleted data is gone from those too.

Legal requests

We disclose data only when compelled by valid legal process, and we report apparent child sexual abuse material to NCMEC as required by law. See Copyright & DMCA for copyright notices.
