Control who can reach you
Settings → Privacy sets who can
message you, sign your guestbook, comment on your blog, or send friend requests
everyone, friends only, or nobody. You can also opt out of member search entirely.
Report anything that crosses a line
Every post, comment, photo, and message has a 🚩 report action. Reports go
straight to the moderation queue and are reviewed by a human. You won't be told
off for reporting in good faith.
Lock your account down
- Use a password you don't use anywhere else (a password manager helps).
- Turn on two-factor authentication it takes two minutes.
- Add a recovery email and trusted contacts so you can get back in if you lose your authenticator.
The old-web classics still apply
- Don't post your address, schedule, or anything you wouldn't hand a stranger.
- Invites are vouches only invite people you'd want at your kitchen table.
- If someone makes you uncomfortable, set your audiences to friends-only and report them. You owe nobody a conversation.
