The deal

remem is a free social site for adults (18+) run by an individual as a hobby. By using it you agree to these terms. If they change meaningfully, we'll post an announcement.

Your content

What you post stays yours. You give remem permission to host, store, resize/transcode, and display it to the audiences you choose that's the minimum needed to run a social site, and nothing more. Delete your content or your account and that permission ends.

House rules

• Only post what you have the right to post no pirated music, movies, or other people's work presented as yours.
• No harassment, hate, or threats. Guestbooks are for signing, not for cruelty.
• No illegal content of any kind. This is reported, removed, and banned without discussion.
• No spam, scams, or impersonating other people.
• Don't try to break the site or access accounts that aren't yours.

You must be 18+

remem is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, and you confirm this at sign-up. Accounts we learn belong to minors are removed.

Copyright / DMCA

We respond to copyright notices under the DMCA. See the Copyright & DMCA page for how to file a takedown or counter-notice. Repeat infringers are terminated.

Moderation

We can remove content or accounts that break these rules. During the friends test we'll usually talk to you first but we don't have to.

No warranty

remem is provided as-is, run on home hardware, with nightly backups but no guarantees. Keep copies of anything you can't lose. We're not liable for lost data or downtime.
